First Disney Trip

DAY 1
Excited to get on the rides and experience Disney!
I thought the carousel would be an innocuous first ride, but no, not a happy baby.
Lotte's favorite rides: Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear & Toy Story Midway Mania.
Not sure how she felt about Pirates of the Caribbean since each time she would fall asleep.

(Excuse the bad cell phone photo)

 DAY 2
Spent the best time running around in Cars Land holding her pink blanket.
Sam took a great night shot of Cars Land, it had a great ambiance.
We went fishing at the boardwalk games, I think I had more fun than she did.
By the time we rode the bus to the car she was all tuckered out. (squishy lips!)

 DAY 3
Started the day off with ice cream which made for one happy baby.
One of the sweepers gave her an "Honorary Sweeper" sticker, she happily demolished it quickly.
She loved her many visits to the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room.
We rode Dumbo for our last ride of the night and didn't even have to wait in line.

DAY 4
We had avoided all the characters due to long lines and worry about her reaction, well not to worry.
Loved Pluto!
Learned the word "duck" with dad while waiting for Grandma and Mom to go on the Matterhorn.

DAY 5
Valentine's Day, we spent the day in Old Town San Diego.
Had a lovely lunch at Cafe Reyes and bought the best churros dipped in chocolate, yum!
But Lotte's favorite part was playing in the grassy area with no shoes on.
A nice man even let her play with his dogs, she was in heaven.

We also visited the new Mormon Battalion Museum, it was a fun experience.
I got to dress up as one of the soldiers of the Battalion, I love the look on the Sister missionary's face.

DAY 6
The last day Lotte was all packed up, ready to go,and sitting on the luggage cart.
We took a quick trip to Coronado beach before heading home.
Lotte loved the sand but didn't care for the super cold water.
The sand was full of beautiful golden pyrite specks,
which I found in my stuff many days after coming home.

We had a lovely time and wish we could go back.
Lotte was in fact absolutely amazing for a 1 year old, we are so spoiled.
Thanks Grandma Allyn for letting us share your birthday in Disney!
