This year I feared that there would be no Christmas tree in our home...a little depressing since that is my favorite part of the holiday. Well my grandma took pity on us and gave us an extra artificial tree from her basement of wonders. Unluckily it took 2 hours to simply set up much less add lights and decorate. Therefore the naked tree has been up for awhile, like 2 weeks. To my great surprise when I returned from work today the tree was shining with lights. Thanks SAM! Since he took the initiative I had to finish the job.

Oh and I found some great retro wrapping paper this year at Target. It was just too great to pass up..."its beginning to look a lot like a 70s Christmas"
