Right now I'm reading the 4th in the eragon series (inheritance) and its pretty good. You have to power thru some of the parts (in all 4 books), but they are good enough to read once if you can get into the mythical.

I also just read extremely loud and incredibly close (movie comes out this month) and I liked it a lot.

Matt and I both really like The duchess of whimsy for a children's book.

Hunger games is a must if you haven't already.

Twilight? ;) jk

And I also really liked the other Boleyn girl or anything by that author when she writes about queens and that time period.

If you want some fun YA to read, check out Janette Rallison. She is awesome! The series I like best so far is her FAIR GODMOTHER series. It's hilarious. But anything by her is great.

Also, if you like stuff on the tenser side, check out James Dashner's dystopian series, THE MAZE RUNNER, or THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins.

Or if you want to read a classic adult novel, try Jane Ayre (if you haven't already), or The Importance of Being Ernest.

I've got a long list, and have plenty that you can borrow if you don't want to spend the money until you know for sure you like them.
